Here's a nice quick recipe to jazz up your bread. Great served with pasta or my Sausage Casserole. If you're fed up eating garlic bread that resembles cardboard in texture and flavour have a go at this, you won't be disappointed.

Ingedients
Ciabatta
2 tbsps Fennel Seeds
2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
50g Oil
Method
Heat a pan and add your fennel seeds. Stir these about every 10 seconds to ensure they don't catch, toast for about 45 seconds to a minute until just warmed and smelling very fragrant.
Tip these into a pestle and mortar, if you don't have one then put them in a sandwich bag and use the end of a rolling pin to crush.
Add the oil and minced garlic and give a good stir. Season well.
Cut your ciabatta down the middle length ways and then across at intervals about an inch to make a criss cross.
Pull the bread apart a bit to expose the inside and then pour over your oil, rubbing it inside and out.
Bake in an oven at 200c for 8-10minutes until nice and golden.
